Distinguished teachers and dear students, good morning!

It’s my great honor to be here and talk about the experience of participating in NSDA competition. For me, this competition is not just about my personal growth, but an unforgettable journey of my hard work and struggle with all the people around me. I am willing to share it with all of you.

First of all, I would like to thank our adorable teachers in Entel. It’s you who brought us together with the debate course and let us begin to seriouly understand what professional debate is. In the past, I just heard about the word debate, just yearned for it, just felt it elusive and unreachable. However, over several weeks of debate training, I went from ignorant to amazed and to determined to fight. If I leave you all the way, I can't imagine what the result will be. I can't forget the encouragement and support of Miss Pan as well as her patient explanation, can’t forget Mr. Chen modifying my manuscript until at 1 o’clock in the morning. All I can say is, how great it is to have you all along the way.

Next, I want to thank the students who participated in the competition with me. My partner Huang Jiacheng, he is an outstanding debater, gentle but energetic. The second debater has a challenging work to do, needs to rebut based on the loophole of the opposite side. He resolutely accepted this work and finished it successfully. During the competition, he was unusually brisk, and confidently responded the queries by our opponents. Yan Han and Wu Yuetian from class 4 and 1, Ou Haoyang and Zhou Zesen from class 12 all entered top 8 in this competition. In the halftime break, we got together to discuss the countermeasures and give each other advice. In fact, we ourselves are opponents, but no one cares. We are all students of Entel, persevering to let the Entel team meet with success!

At last, I also want to thank my opponents. The first opponent we met in the preliminary round was the runner-up team of the open division and we later met the three consecutive Open Tournament champion. To be honest, we were truly beaten miserably. We learned what is called the strength of the crushing, saw the cruel side of the debate, but it aroused our determination to defeat the opponents. After a game and another, we gradually understood a truth, there is no natural master in the world, the victory in the debate competition depends on searching for information online all night long before the competition, depends on rehearsing the scenes of debate in daily life, depends on forcing oneself to remember unfamiliar professional terms in the materials, depends on the spirit of being knocked down repeatedly but still keeping the grace and tenacious struggle...My opponents made me realize that I have not done enough!

Someone asked me, after this competition, will I continue to compete? Of course! Why not? I have such excellent teachers, and such splendid friends, and the debate competition gives me such a great experience! Even if it is for me to challenge the champion, it does not matter! I don't want to think about their heights at all. As long as we advance a little bit every day, give up the unnecessary worries, and take one step and another on the road ahead of us. Surely someday, we can all become the champion!

Thank you!
